MELLOTT--Mrs. Teda Waller Archer, 90, a resident of this community nearly all her married life, died at 10 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient 10 days. She was a native of Somerset, Ky., born Sept. 18, 1879, and married James Archer of the Mellott area Sept. 19, 1903. He died Jan. 30, 1965. She was a member of the South Christian Church here. Mrs. Archer lived on their farm 1 1/2 miles northeast of Mellott. Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. Mallie Fox of New Market and Bernie Sullivan of Russellville, and several nieces and grandnieces. She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. John Servies officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dry Run Cemetery southeast of Mellott.

MELLOTT, Ind. (CNS)---Mrs. Teda Archer, 90, of rural Mellott, died at 10 p.m. Saturday (May 30, 1970) at Culver Hospital where she had been a patient one week. She attended the South Christian Church at Mellott. Born Sept. 18, 1879, at Somerset, Ky., she was the daughter of John and Mary Waller. She was married to James M. Archer at Hillsboro Sept. 19, 1903, who preceded her in death in January, 1965. She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a sister. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mallie Fox of New Market and Mrs. Bernie Sullivan of Russellville; and several nieces. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, with the Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Dry Run Cemetery, east of Mellott. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
